Question: Which type of battery should we apply to BC-859?
Answer: You need to use the AA-typed batteries to keep the monitor working. The monitor requires 4 batteries to perform the its functions well.
Question: Why sometimes are the measured results different at certain times in a day?
Answer: Depending on the water level in the body at the certain time in a day, the fat percentage may be slightly different. The suitable timing to take measurements is 3 hours after breakfast, lunch, dinner and shower.
Question: Since 5 personal data numbers are taken, if I pick any data number and input my personal data, will the monitor save the newly inserted information or still continue to save the data of the previous user?
Answer: After choosing a personal data number and completing the inputting information step, the monitor will show “Clr” on the screen, you may press the “Up” or “Down” arrow to choose “Yes” or “No”.
Press “Yes”, BC-859 will automatically save all the newly inserted personal data along with your measured results.
Press “No”, the monitor will go off and not save the newly inserted personal data.
Question: When I replace the new battery, do I need to input the entire information again in BC-859 to restart?
Answer: When changing new batteries, you will need to follow these steps to restart and begin to use the monitor:
Press “Up” or “Down” to select the current year and press “SET”.
Similarly, press the button “Up” or “Down” to select the current date and month. Press “SET” for each time finishing the selection.
Continue to select the timing hour and minute, then press “SET” for each time selecting.
BC-859 only requires you to input the current time after the new batteries have been applied. However, the personal data of the 5 users are still saved in the monitor.
